Open for Business 

Sundeck Cottages operates from Motorcycle Week (mid-June) through Labor Day annually.  You can download a 5-Year forward-looking calendar for our operations.

Weekly Reservations 

Reservations for weekly rentals (Saturday - Saturday) are accepted up to one year in advance of stay. A deposit of 50% of the total stay is required to secure your reservation. The remaining balance for the stay is due on the first of the month, 3-months prior to your arrival (3/1 for June, 4/1 for July, 5/1 for August stays). 

Nightly Reservations 

Occasionally, we have limited availability for stays shorter than one-week. Typically, we start considering these requests starting in May. There is a 3-night minimum rental at Sundeck Cottages. Payment in full is required at time of booking for reservations less than a week. 

Also, new this year, we will be offering the Studio Apartment for nightly rentals for one or two people (3-night minimum). A great option for a couple attending a concert at the nearby Bank of NH Pavilion. Linens and towels are provided for nightly rentals in the Studio Apartment.

Payment 

Payment is preferred by check payable to Sundeck Cottages (227 Dockham Shore Rd, Gilford, NH 03249) or by Zelle (603-293-9391). We also accept credit cards, Apple Pay, PayPal, Venmo, and eCheck / ACH for a small processing fee (3%). 

Cancellation 

Refunds will be provided if notification is received 90-days in advance and we completely fill the vacancy. A $100 per week cancellation processing fee will apply for each cottage rented. 

Check-In / Out 

Check-in is after 2:00pm; please call if you are going to be later than 6:00pm. Check-out is by 10:00am. 

Linens / Towels 

Your own linens and towels are welcome. If desired, bed linens and towels can be provided for your stay. Bed linens are $20 per bed per week; fresh linens each Saturday. Towels are $20 per towel per week; exchanged on Tuesdays, and Saturdays (if staying more than one week) when brought to the office. 

Extra Persons / Guests 

While we have adequate facilities for our guests, we do have to control the amount of company. Every cottage has a designated standard capacity. If you plan to exceed this capacity, either during the day or overnight, please discuss with us prior. If additional guests are approved, the charge for a day guest is $20 per day and for an overnight guest is $30 per night (or $150 per week). 

Housekeeping 

Our cottages are your own little home away from home at the lake; please treat them that way. Upon check-out, please leave cottages tidy, broom-swept, trash out, and dishes washed.  

Quiet Hours 

Quiet hours are observed from 10:00pm until 9:00am. 

Parking 

Each cottage rental includes parking for up to 2 vehicles.  

Pets 

Sorry, no pets are allowed on the premises. 

Smoking 

Smoking or vaping (of any form or of any substance) is not allowed in the cottages including the porches. Please do this outside only. 

Accessibility 

We do our best to accommodate everyone; however, our property and cottages are not handicap accessible due to terrain. 

Waitlist 

If you are interested in coming to Sundeck, but your ideal dates or cottage is not available, please let us know. We maintain a healthy waitlist of guests who are seeking something specific. 

Special Occasions & Group Bookings 

If you are interested in hosting a special occasion (wedding, reunion, etc.) at Sundeck, we may be able to open earlier or close later to accommodate your group.
